There are probably gaps in the lines that separate pieces. If the gaps are in the original pattern, you can fix them by hand and then reload it into the Rapid Resizer.
If that's not the problem, gaps could appear if the Rapid Resizer converts too severely to black & white, eroding away parts of lines. In that step, try sliding the manual control to see if the program stops creating gaps.
