You can add textures to the Rapid Resizer from the Web, from a CD-ROM, or from a digital camera or scanner. Using a scanner works surprisingly well, though you should be careful about scratching it.
You can download glass pictures or order a CD-ROM full of them. Wood or fabric manufacturers' websites may also have images that can be downloaded or you may be able to order a CD-ROM of them.
Once you have a texture file or a material to scan, you can use the Rapid Resizer to open or scan it and then choose "Use as Palette Texture" from the File menu. You can choose that command at any step.
The Rapid Resizer can use textures stored in almost any picture format. JPG and PNG are best.
Picture files can also be directly copied into the texture folders in the Rapid Resizer's folder, which is usually "C:\Program Files\Rapid Resizer". To remove textures, navigate to those folders and delete those you don't want.
Many pictures will show seams when tiled to fit large pattern pieces. That's not easy to fix. I use the Seamless Welder filter in Kai's Power Tools 3.
